Naomi Watts won't rush marriage

Naomi Watts refuses to rush into marriage.

The 40-year-old actress - who has two sons, 18-month-old Alexander and seven-week old Samuel Kai, with partner Liev Schreiber - won't be pressurised into tying the knot because she isn't a fan of the institution.

She revealed in an interview with Parade magazine: "Liev gave me a beautiful ring, although I'm not wearing it right now. It's not like I've grown up having this dream of a fairytale wedding.

"My mother married twice and had two divorces. And Liev comes from the same kind of background. Maybe one day we'll just wake up and go, 'Hey, let's do this.' And maybe not. He and I have a family. We're very much together. We just don't have that certificate, and that's OK with both of us."

Despite her reluctance to walk down the aisle, Naomi insists she is deeply in love with Live, a "fiercely intelligent" man who she has "always been drawn towards".

The actress also opened up about her relationship with Heath Ledger - who died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January 2008 - who she met on the set of 2002 movie 'Ned Kelly'.

She said: "It's still incredibly difficult. It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance. There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in. His strength didn't scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you."

Liev Schreiber And Naomi Watts Become Parents

Hollywood stars Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts are celebrating after the actress gave birth to their first child - a week earlier than expected, according to U.S. reports.

The Mulholland Dr. star, 38, gave birth early on Thursday morning at a hospital in Los Angeles with Schreiber by her side, although the couple has not revealed the sex of the baby, reports Life & Style magazine.

A source says, "Naomi was planning on giving birth next week - her due date was early August - but since she insisted on delivering naturally, she knew there was a chance she would have the baby before the due date. That's what wound up happening.

"This is a dream come true for both of them and they've done everything in their power to make it as special as possible, right down to staying in the dark about the baby's sex right up until Naomi gave birth."

Watts is said to be resting comfortably in the hospital, close to her Brentwood, California mansion.
