Leona Lewis has rubbished claims she sparked the argument between Chris Brown and Rihanna

Leona Lewis has rubbished claims she sparked a row between Chris Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna, which resulted in him allegedly assaulting the Umbrella singer.

Star magazine reports Rihanna was angered when she apparently saw Leona and the RnB hunk sharing a joke at the pre-Grammy Awards party in LA.

'Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona's back,' a source says. 'It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off.'

But a spokeswoman for Leona, 23, has set the record straight, saying: 'This has nothing to do with her'.

Chris, 19, allegedly assaulted Rihanna hours before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, reportedly leaving her with ‘horrific injuries'.

Meanwhile, US website TMZ claims Rihanna, 20, and Chris were arguing over a text he received from another woman.

Leona Lewis asked 'Gossip Girl Star ' to star in her new video

LEONA LEWIS gets up close and personal with CHACE CRAWFORD in her new video.

The Run singer asked the Gossip Girl star to appear in the promo for I Will Be after meeting him at a party in London.

He readily agreed and the pair have now finished filming in New York.

Leona admits she’s a huge fan of the teen idol and recently gushed about him on her blog.

She wrote: “I also got to work with Chace Crawford, who is one of the nicest people I’ve met, super talented and he’s in one of my new fave series’ Gossip Girl.”

I Will Be was originally written and recorded by AVRIL LAVIGNE and was covered by Leona on her debut album Spirit.
