Elizabeth Hurley Divorcing

The latest celebrity gossip from the UK is that British actress and model Elizabeth Hurley has separated from husband Arun Nayar, a split she announced on Twitter Sunday. “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago,” she wrote. She is apparently involved with an Australian cricket player named Shane Warne, and photos of the two together have been snapped by paparazzi.

Long popular in the UK, Hurley became internationally famous in the 1990s for her long romance with actor Hugh Grant. She began seeing Nayar, a textile heir, in 2002 and the couple wed in 2007 in a very lavish ceremony on two continents. Hurley, who did not insist on a prenuptial agreement, is famous for her daring fashion style, and has long been a favorite of fashion industry label Versace.

The actress-and-model is rumored to keep her svelte figure through an array of severe diets, but she insists she loves indulging in tasty treats.

Elizabeth told Britain's Hello magazine: "I do see all these stories about me living on a teaspoon of gruel a day.

"It makes me laugh because it's just not true.

"Rarely a day goes by when I don't have a bag of crisps or some chocolate."

The 42-year-old - who insists she stays in shape by eating healthy low-fat food and exercising - has been linked to a string of bizarre eating fads.

It has been claimed Elizabeth eats tiny portions using doll's plates and miniature cutlery.

In the run up to her wedding to Arun Nayar this year, she was said to live only on watercress soup. It has also been claimed Elizabeth only eats one meal a day.
